  • 郵便局のところです Yuubinkyoku no tokoro desu

    Yuubinkyoku= Post office, No Tokoro= Place of (Tokoro=Place, No=of)

    Translation: It is the place of the Post office

    As in the full dialogue you have written some one wanted to go to the hospital and the other person is guiding therefore said,

    「病院はちょっ遠いですよ。郵便局のところです。」Byouin wa chotto tooi desu yo. yuubinkyoku no tokoro desu. The Hospital is little bit far. It is the place of the Post office.

    (means if the asker could find the post office could find hospital)

  • It means "It's near the post office." ...like "you can find the byouin(hospital) if you are at the yuubinkyoku(post office)"

    "yuubinkyoku" = "post office"

    "tokoro" = "place"
