1997 Cadillac Deville Theft auto System?
I have a 1997 Cadillac deville with around 78,000 miles on it and sometimes it starts right up and runs great. Other times (every other day) it doesn t start and says on the dash theft auto system. it then says to take out the key from the ignition and to wait 3 minutes before restarting. Wait 3 minutes and sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn t. Anyone know what is wrong and can help???

You can try replacing the key battery. No joy, go to a dealer or car locksmith and have the computer reflashed (reset program).
