Maths problem/dilemma?
I'm in a bit of a situation.
Maths has always been one of my best subjects. Since primary school I've been getting mostly As (and a few Bs) in Maths. In Year 10 (I'm now in Year 11), I was one of the best in my class at maths. I got an A in three important exams then (this was all pre-GCSE). I was recommended by my year 10 maths teacher to take GCSE Additional Maths, as well as GCSE Maths. This meant that I had to do all of my GCSE in Maths in one year instead of 2. I found this too hard for two reasons. The first: I got an absolutely cr*p teacher; the worst in the department. The second is the pace - it was all too quick. But anyway I was getting maybe 50% or 60% in tests - my worst grades ever. So I decided to drop out and just do GCSE Maths over 2 years. I have since got a really good teacher who has helped to bring my marks back up - in my most recent test I got 90% and I am predicted an A in my Maths GCSE. Now I am starting to enjoy Maths again and it has become my favourite subject. I am interested in doing it for A Level, however the problem is my school runs 4 A Level Maths classes, and my additional maths teacher (the cr*p one), teaches one of them. There's a 25% chance I'll get her and unless I get the right teacher there's no way I would be able to pass A Level Maths.
I really want to be a Maths teacher whenever I'm older, but I don't know if I should just give up on this and become a RE, Biology or History teacher. Is it worth the risk?

Well theres a 75% chance you won't get the cr*p teacher so it is definitely worth the risk but if you do get the cr*p one you could always get extra help to keep up and if I dont get something, I take my book home too look over it and maby ask someone.
