Yes, It can run it. But, a GeForce 6600 and GeForce 6800s will run it better. The GeForce 7100GS is part of the GeForce 7 Series; and the GeForce 6600/6800 is part of the GeForce 6 Series. The 7100GS is the weakest of the GeForce 7 Series, but the GeForce 6600GT is the 2nd fastest in the GeForce 6 Series and the GeForce 6800GT is the fastest 6 Series card. I would recommend at least a GeForce 6600GT, a 7600GT, or a 8600GT minimum for anything. the 6800s, 7900s, and 8800s, are all very powerful and fast cards. Hope this helps!
The 7100 is not as powerful. When Nvidia makes a new series of cards, the lower cards in that series are not as powerful as the high number cards in the series before it.
A 6200 is not as powerful as a 5900, a 7100 is not as powerful as a 6600 or 6800, and a 7900 is more powerful than a 8300.

I don't understand, if you want to pay good money and have power, why don't you just pop for the $100.00 Radeon 9550?

Your 7100gs has diffrent architechure then 6600/6800 !
So same games may work on 6600/6800 and may not work on 7100.
Some times it could be vice versa....
