favorite poem?
ok, i have to write a report in which i analyze a poem, any poem, and i cannot for the life of me think of one i like. i don't need the analyzation, i don't even need the poem in full, just some titles and authors of any poem would be helpful

I'm going to make it simple for you. Look up "Her Kind" by Anne Sexton. Should be relatively straight forward from there.
Check out something by Robert Frost, W.B. Yeats, William Blake, Emily Dickinson, or Edgar Allan Poe. I like all of these authors a lot.
Add to your list of poets to look up: Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Robert Bly, Lyn Hejinian, e.e. cummings, Sandra Cisneros....
That's a diverse list; surely you'll find something among these. Sounds like you need to read more poetry so you can find a poem you like.
One of my favorite poems is Annabel Lee by Edgar Allen Poe. You must check it out and see if it would be one you would consider using. I think you should at least read it and take it in, it's beautiful.

Look up in google or yahoo. Look up Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. He has some good ones.
