and make sure your car doesn't have any large cracks in the windshield or that the drivers window doesn't open..like mine did on my drivers license day. good luck
Bring your ID...if you don't have one then a birth certificate and your social should do it. School ID might be helpful too just in case they need something with a pic on it. So while you are there and if you don't have an ID then make sure you get one. Bring your money of course and good luck!

look at the DMV website or call the local office before going.
Proof of birth/ID and SSN
take your i.d., your permit, proof of insurance and i think that is it.
