8th grade egg drop project!!?
I have the 8th grade egg drop project coming up in a week. Im not sure about all the materials and stuff we can use, so far im pretty sure its unlimited but there is a size limit. We are dropping from the 2nd story of the school. Im not sure if we can use things to slow it down, im pretty sure we CANT. any ideas will help Thanks(:

I did a project like this last year, and the point of it was to make sure the egg didn't break. I made a parachute out of a dollar store flag and tied it to a tupperware container that contained the egg (the egg was wrapped in bubble wrap, so it was really light.)
Oh my gosh. Good times X) I did the same thing in 7th grade in science class, but we dropped it from the ceiling of the room to the floor, so yours has more potential energy, so it'll be falling faster. ANYWAYS, we used a sandwich sized zip lock bag and stuffed it with cotton balls and put the egg in the center, and it survived! I know, amazing story X) another idea is cushioning the egg somehow, maybe put cotton balls around it and secure them with rubber bands? Good luck
Wrap the egg between two inflated balloons
while my classification did it in ninth grade, we placed it in a unmarried fit in the egg carton, coated it with bubble wrap and used pillows. It survived 3 flights of stairs. yet those have been favourite pillows. in line with probability you will discover smaller ones?
