It's part of the relationship set up between companies and the employees. The company "employees you" which is what makes you be an employee. The company or individual will work for is then responsible to come up with the money to pay you and their portion of social Security taxes.
So at this time in your life you are really creating some very big problems that could come back on you at some future time in your life when you are operating your business in this way and NOT correctly reporting your business income and expenses CORRECTLY on your 1040 income tax return for each tax year. And then you do call them employees for this purpose and how do you correctly write the UNDER THE TABLE PAY expense off on your schedule C for the tax year. I have seen taxpayers that were audited 3 or 4 years later for this same reason and then had to go back and amend the past years income tax return to correct the past mistakes that they had made for the same reason that you are now doing. And paid some pretty good penalties and interest also for doing this. Good Luck in your future. Hope that you find the above enclosed information useful. 08/25/2012
