Does a flourless chocolate espresso cake have a coffee flavor?
I love chocolate, but can't stand the taste of coffee (obviously I don't drink it). I'm thinking of going to a restaurant that includes 2 deserts and 1 of them is a "flourless chocolate espresso cake"

I'd have to disagree and say that it may have espresso taste. Does it say if it has a filling or buttercream? That may be coffee flavored..
Why don't you call the restaurant and make sure before you go? They can clarify the description of the cake and tell you if it has a strong espresso taste.
No, they add the word espresso to menu items when it's definitely not going to have a coffee taste in any shape or form. It's an April fool type thing I suppose.
