AC 4 Black Flag graphical issues?

Hey all,

I recently got Black Flag and I just started it, right before I caught and killed the assassin these artifacts started popping up(See link below)

As well as green lines coming from the sky and connecting to an object.

All my other games work fine, except for dishonored which I was told/have read was due to my system being the old fat ps3. Is this a similar problem? I would be really disappointed if I had yet another title that was crappy on my ps3.

    I hate to say it, but what I saw in that photo [you linked] is the sign of a bad GPU. It means that your PS3's GPU is failing. That isn't uncommon for an old PS3.

    You are going to have start considering your options before the problem gets worse. You could find a console repair service and see if they can replace the GPU, or you can save up for a new PS3. Either way the problem will get worse and eventually cause your PS3 to fail.
