Is nail fungus contagious through food?

For example is it like a bacteria that can be killed with heat for food.

If you eat something that someone touched with nail fungus can it attack your immune system and be contagious to your body?

    Once it goes in stomach the HCl acid destroys it, besides Nail fungus is not contagious. So you are safe by nature's own defence system.
