California Drivers License? Can I use my sisters car?

I'm 18 and plan on taking my driving test asap but dont know if I can.

I will be using my sisters car. She has insurance on her car but its not in my name. Do I have to go through her insurance and add my name JUST to take my test? Or can I go ahead and borrow her car to take the test?

Update:

If she goes with me to take my test, they will let me use her car even if my name is not on her insurance?

    You can use her car to take the test, my kid just got his license and they didn't care who's car it was as long as you don't kill the guy giving you the test they don't care what your driving, Good Luck
