Acer Iconia Tab A500 or Asus Eee Pad Transformer?
the acer tablet is on sale for the same price as the asus transformer so price is not a big deal. I really like the design on both. i love the keyboard on the transformer.. not sure about the quality of the two.. which is better? last longer? thanks!

The transformer has better battery life and a better screen ( the Asus has an IPS screen which is what the ipad has while the Acer has a regular LCD) also, the Asus has the 3.2 update currently while the iconia still doesn't! Also, the transformer has a built in screen shot feature which is unique to it only. The keyboard dock also adds more battery life to give it a total of 16 hours!!! The main reason I really bought the Asus isn't all the reasons I just said... its because the Acer is dog gone heavy! Its like holding a brick literally... against the ipad, you might as well be holding a brick in a weight comparison. Sooooo.... buy the Asus! I did and am very pleased with my decision. I could have got the Asus 50 bucks cheaper on sale but decided to get the Asus full price instead. I have had my Asus less than 24 hours and I am typing this on it right now. I think it was 400 bucks well spent...
I have had this Acer Iconia Tab W500-BZ467 tablet since it was released two weeks ago. The look and feel of the unit is great. The touch screen is very responsive and HD videos look great on it. You get 2 gigs of system mem and 32gig SSD. Of course you get a full operation system in win 7. Web surfing is no problem the only site I have had a problem with is the Apple movie trailer site. I am not sure if it is the unit or the fact I am using Explorer 9.
I think both tablets are actually on par one to another. They both have the same display, Tegra 2 processor, `1GB of RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera and some other similar things. However, i think Asus Transformer eee Pad is a much better choice for you given that this model comes with cellular support plus keyboard dock, which is really useful if you're into productivity tablet, while it is also great as media-consumption device.
So yeah, i think Asus Transformer eee Pad is better than Acer iconia A500. Even so, i also think that Acer A500 is also a good choice because this tablet comes with great features and cool visual presentation on its software, which is better than the stock Android OS.

the asus because of battery life and it doubles as a netbook while the acer only functions as a tablet.
ASUS. Better quality and support IMO.
Plus is has a keyboard. Ive seen it at the shops, its AMAZING
