Associates Degree/Bachelors?

I am in a kind of a dilemma and need help .. I will be graduating this fall of 2014 in November or December with my Associates degrees , I plan on transferring to a 4 year school that spring semester after I receive it I am 20 years old right now . Does it make more sense to not get my associates in the fall and just apply to schools now and start my semester at my 4 year school in the fall . I am aiming at graduating with my B.A by age 22

  • If your 4 year school will accept you without the associates go ahead and go there. An Associates Degree is fairly useless if you get a BA. It is somewhat like saying that you went to Middle School after your graduate from high school.

  • You can't transfer to a four year university unless you have completed a degree at a community college.

If you are not qualified to start a freshman year at a four year university in the first place, they will not take you in any case.
