How to do a messy bun?
So I really want to know how to do a messy bun. A girl in my class has showed me, but I always get stuck. I know you gather your hair up like you're going to put it into a ponytail, but you only bring about half of the way through. That's where I get stuck. I've watched tons of videos and they just say to twist it, but it never comes out right. What do I do with the ends of my hair that aren't halfway through the ponytail? Do I push them up or to the side or what? Do I do this to whole bun? I am so lost! I have no idea what to do after pulling my hair halfway through the ponytail holder. Help?

Braid your hair loosely, and tie it off at the end, then, mess up your braid and loosen it even more until it doesn't even look quite like a braid anymore. Then, put it into your typical bun. Use a small brush to take out more wisps of hair if you want to make it even messier. I have shoulder-length layered hair, so I can just put it into a teensy messy bun. Hope this helps!
