fake tattoos; real needle, temporary ink?
i've heard about those and i was wondering if most tattoo shops will do them.
and in wisconsin where i live, you have to be sixteen to get a tattoo with parental permission, but since its temporary, would it have different laws? or would the laws be the same, because they're still using a needle and theres a chance of infection or cross-contamination?

OK sweetie, you are very misled. First, there is no such thing as temporary ink. Any tattoo done with needle and ink is permanent, and can only be removed by laser. Second, you live in Wisconsin, and you cannot be tattooed at 16 with parental consent. You can be pierced, but not tattooed. The only time a minor can be tattooed in Wisconsin is by a physician. I will post the law so that you can see it yourself.
HFS 173.05 Patrons
(1) LIMITATIONS. (a) Consent. A tattooist or body piercer may not tattoo
or body pierce a patron without first obtaining the signed, informed consent of
the person on a form approved by the department.
Note: To obtain a copy of an approved consent form, which may be reproduced,
write: Bureau of Public Health, P. O. Box 309, Madison, Wisconsin 53701.
(b) Minors. 1. No person under 16 years of age may be body pierced.
2. No person age 16 or 17 may be body pierced unless an informed consent
form has been signed by his or her parent or legal guardian in the presence of
the operator.
3. No person under 18 years of age may be tattooed except by a physician
in the course of the physician's professional practice, as permitted under s.
948.70 (3), Stats.
4. A body--piercing establishment shall post a notice in a conspicuous
place in the establishment stating that it is illegal to body pierce a person
under the age of 18 without the signed, informed consent of that person's parent
or legal guardian.
5. A tattoo establishment shall post a sign in a conspicuous place in the
establishment stating that no person under the age of 18 may be tattooed.
Not sure who is giving you all this bad information, but, I would question their knowledge. Sorry to break your heart, but, if you want a tattoo, it will be there forever, and you will be waiting two more years to do it.
Not sure about tattooing with temporary ink, but recently there has been much talk concerning a more easily removable ink. Currently, the selection of inks for this is limited. They aren't temporary. These inks are designed specifically to respond well to laser removal treatments, but are otherwise permanent. Any tattoo that requires puncturing the skin, even if done without any ink at all, would fall under health dept. regulations and be subject to the same laws governing standard tattooing in that jurisdiction.
