how do u forward a email?

when I do it says that there is no email address but I am picking them out and all it comes up with is the first letter of the name, what gives????

    Are you sending you own email or forwarding one that was sent to you? If the former you enter their address & SEND it,not forward.If you are forwarding one you received to a third party,select their name from your mail contacts,then click on the right side one of the three purple arrows above the content.
