nvidia inspector causing laptop gpu temperatures to rise?

So I open up nvidia inspector and I notice that the temperatures on my gpu flash back and fourth (37-42, 38-43, 39-44, 40-45) and as they flash back and fourth, my gpu temperatures slowly begin to rise, my gpu activity icon also flashes on and off but show no gpu activity. I also notice when I have nvidia inspector on and I am running a game or graphic application that temperatures don't flash back and fourth and are normal. I tried updating my graphic drivers but no luck, can anyone please help me? :(

i7-3610qm

  • Gpu Inspector

  • You know i think it may be because nvidia inspector is working completely different from GPUZ. Unlike gpuz that reads out basic data NV inspector is sampling the gpu chip itself of course it will heat up just use gpuz instead.
