Pontiac G5 remote reprogramming price?
About how much does it cost to get THIS car a new remote and get it programmed? The one i have now doesnt work at you cant just buy one for this car and do it yourself because pontiac requires it to be done in a shop. I called one place and they would come out but charge 200+ and i feel like that is really expensive for a remote that costs like $50.

Problem is the dealers are the best place but yes they are expensive to get this done. Similar pricing here and for some remotes of GM I've seen even higher prices for a new remote and programming.
Just a new key for one buggy was near $80 as they had to lookup the code and of course it has a chip in it so they charge too much.
