How do you transfer data on a ps3 to a ps3?

My brother is heading off to college and he's taking the ps3 we've always shared since '07 and because of that, he's helping me pay for my new ps3. They're not the same version, GB either. I have all my both online data saved like nba 2k13 stuff saved and my black ops 2 stuff saved online, how do I transfer all that on to my new ps3? Also, how do I transfer stuff like infamous data, not saved online, but stuff that's saved in my ps3, in my saved data slot. If this makes a difference, he's taking the 1st ps3 that came out, the touchscreen one, I'm getting the newest 500 GB one.
