How do I naturally fade my semi-permanent red hair dye quickly?

I dyed my hair a few months ago, and I want to redye it. My mom won't let me until the other dye is completely faded. My hair is naturally blonde, and was dyed red. Now it's at about a strawberry blonde, and it's not really fading anymore. How do I fade it quickly?

  • You can try to use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner. But be careful and don't overuse it, because it'll strip your hair of its natural oils. Also, you can try to crush one or two medium sized tablets of Vitamin C into shampoo and leave it in for about 5 minutes. This will reduce the amount of color left in your hair.

DONT strip your hair until you've tried these. It's not a good thing to do to it, and definitely don't do it on your own. Go to a salon.

  • I had the exact same situation! My hair develop into the same as yours- an quite gentle blonde although the in elementary words ingredient i ought to do develop into purchase a house hair colouring equipment and bypass an quite gentle brown. i tried tomato sauce, I washed it 3 situations an afternoon for 2 weeks- the in elementary words ingredient you should do for that color is dye it yet another! Sorry! x p.s. i tried washing up liquid and it in elementary words complements the colour! Aah!

  • just get a hair stripper, they are about £7 or you can use washing up liquid which can make your hair a bit thin but it does make it fade:)
