I was lucky and the drink age was 18 when I was younger and there wasn't much enforcement on the issue back then either so I was in a bar drinking at 16 as well without trouble. Twenty one though I would say is the milestone go anywhere do whatever celebration though so that's tops but the others are very good also : ) hope you have a great time !
Or it could be all of the above. Everyone has a slightly different feeling about this. I've known people who feelings about each of those.
But none of those three were a big deal for me. I can't explain why, but 25 was a bigger deal than those three ages or any since, 30, 40 etc.
For a lot of my friends, it was 18 when they had to register for the draft. Some of them found themselves in the military in fairly short order. A lot of them didn't come back.
So if I were looking for an age that mattered, I'd probably pick 18 because of them. And here we are, doing it all over again getting young men and ( these days) women killed in a war that isn't going anywhere. And we have a president finds his answers for a war on a multiple choice question with page after page.
They're not all you, but it seems a shame to think of people who'll never see their next birthday.
So maybe, by the time you turn 21 we can finally be out of this misbegotten mess in Iraq.
16 was nothing, it met I got to drive, 18 was nothing, so what I was considered an adult, but I was still very young, 21 was big for me. I don't drink, but once you past 21 time just zips by like nobody's business, I think it's a turning point in life and a great reason to celebrate, I think that you are starting to pass that immature level and move on to better paths in life:0)

In England at least, without a doubt, 18 is the new 21.
They increased the legal age for buying smokes from 16 to 18 recently, and the drinking age has been 18 for ages.

Well for me it would be 19 because that is the drinking age where I am
I am almost 18, so a little over a year and I will be 19
Definitely 21... Last summer I turned 21 and it was awesome. We made a weekend event out of it.
16 and 21 are the biggest but dont rush to grow up I miss 16 it was one of the best ages so enjoy.
