Do i have a problem? am i anorexic??????????????

i never have breakfast because i feel i cant eat in the mornings, i eat very little and sometimes i find my hands shaking incontrolably but if i eat i feel sick and i get upset and feel like crying, when i do eat it has to be something little sugary and often unhealthy. My periods have started going very irregular and i feel bloated all the time even when i havent eaten anything. As i am in a difficult relationship Sometimes i get vey depressed especially when im alone and when im depressed i dont eat at all as a way of punishing myself (i am confused at the fact i do this) and i cant control this at all. most of the time (like right now) im so cold and shivering even when im under covers and the room is warm. i go light headed a lot of the time when i stand up and things, im 7 and a half stone and about 4 foot ish. is there something wrong with me?

  • in the morning it takes a while to wake up your metabolism so alot of people are not hungry in the morning, but eat anyway. im not sure it sounds like from not eating you probably have low blood sugar which would cause you to be light headed shaky and cold, your body has nothing to go on, its like a car if you dont put gas in it,it will not go. and a wood stove wont put out heat unless you put wood in it so to the body cant warm itself without nurishment. depression is a very serious thing and so is stress, stress wreeks havoc on the body, i know from experience. the reason you want something sugary when you eat is because of having low blood sugar but this is not good when you eat that sugar your blood sugar will ski rocket give a little boost of energy and then sink way down. dont punish yourself life is hard enough. by not eating you are messing your colon up very bad which will make your stomache bloat it will press on your female parts and make your periods very miserable and probably contribute to makeing irregular. by not eating you are stressing your body out which will make you more stressed and more depressed, i know depression is not somethin easy to get past but you need to talk to someone you need help, by you asking the question shows you want help but its not easy to ask if you dont want to talk to your parents talk to a doctor, try to eat healthy stay away from real sugary sweets and sodas, try exercising, like a exercise video or something especially when your depressed and dont isolate yourself that will only make you more depressed, try doing whatever you can to help you to feel happy, (within reason) if you have animals play with them its a proven fact people are happier when they have an animal and they interract with them. bottom line you do need to do something about this, if you dont you are setting yourself up for major health problems.

    I went through a stage where I just didn't feel hungry in the morning and felt like I was forcing it down, and I eventually stopped eating it. And I started feeling low on energy and weak.

    You need to eat something in the morning, and eventually your body will get used to it and you'll eventually feel like eating something as your appetite to increase.

    You don't sound anorexic, you just sound a bit unhealthy. You need to eat properly. Eat 3 proper meals a day.

  • sounds like you could be, your periods being irregular, feeling depressed/upset, shaking, feeling light headed are all probably caused by you not eating properly. why don't you eat properly? do you think you are fat? please see a doctor & tell them exactly what you have here they will be able to help you.

  • I think your first priority is to treat your depression. You might find that it will help your appetite and abnormal bodily functions. If it does not, then I would seek help for your other issues.
