Do banks accept oxidized pennies?
I have saved up a bunch of pennies over the year and would like to exchange them for bills. Because the pennies will of course be in coin wrappers, they cannot see the coins and their condition. Money is money, but will they have a problem with this? Thanks in advance.

My America First credit union has a coin counter in the lobby that accepts coins, and A1st doesn't charge a percentage, they'll just take the note and give me cash, but I have an account there.
I used to save up all my coins until I'd go to las vegas, and change them in the slot machine rooms for cash.
Don't go to a store, coinstar charges about 10 percent. Robbery.
If in doubt, just ASK the bank people.
Oh, and yes, they'll be happy to take pennies, oxidized or not.
No, it is not going to matter. Banks can exchange money that should no longer be in circulation for new prints, so it's not going to affect them even if they do look like they've been around forever. You really should not have an issue with this.
