Computer Has No Display Ports?

So i Just got a new 144hz monitor for my gaming setup, and after some research, I found that the only cable that allows 144hz is a display-port cable. I took the display-port cable and looked at the back of my PC, and saw no cable slot for the display-port cord. Are there any adaptors that I can buy? Or is there another solution?

    144HZ is the refresh rate which is within the hardware of the monitor and nothing to do with any cables.

    If that computer is actually capable of running the newest games, it has a graphics card that has DisplayPort. If for some reason it doesn't, DVI dual-link will work too.

    You need to buy a suitable graphics card for your PC.
