He asked me out (I'm Amy Crowe. You might see me on TV soon!) but I only date republicans...and I don't want to ask him incase he's a democrat because that's a really weird reason to say no.

However unbelievable your story is, it shouldn't matter whether he is democratic or republican. All that matters is that he holds similar beliefs and standards that you do, and you won't truly get to know that unless you go with him. So go have fun and realize how superficial this question is. And although I don't believe your story I am still jealous.
