queensborough or kingsborough community college?

I am a Senior in High school and am applying to college, I want to major in zoology or perhaps marine bio and minor in art. I want to apply to Rutgers or Stony Brook but have no money saved up and a 3.0 GPA. I was thinking of going to either one of these community colleges. Which one is best and what do you think? Thanks.

    I am to am to an extent familiar with both schools. My brother took some courses at Kingsborough and I knew a number of the faculty at Queensborough. My own view which is not a good cross section is that they are both fairly good schools but that Queensborough is better.

    Stony Brook is an excellent school. See if you can get financial aid and go there. I do know some of the Stony Brook faculty and my niece went there. That is my first choice for you./
