Toilet Flush Problem - button no longer activates a flush?
Hi - I've got access to the cistern and have discovered the other end of the tube leading from the push-button hanging loose in the water. What I can't seem to find is where its meant to be attached? (the cistern is a Dudley Vantage concealed cistern so I've only got access from the top where I've removed tiles)
Update:The manufacturers website doesn't help and doesn't have installation manuals or info

There should be a small plastic inlet pipe on the front right hand side of the cistern and the tube from the push button slips over it. Job done. I have fitted these before.I am also a Plumber.
Step 1. Flush a few more times to clean as well as you can. 2. Turn off the water to the toilet. 3. Flush again, now remove all the water that's left from the tank and the bowl. 4. Use a small compact mirror and a flashlight to look up inside the toilet for and thing that is not suppose to be there. Be patient, it takes a little practice. 5. If nothing is obstructing the bowl going up, then you will need to take the toilet loose from the floor, lean it forward very carefully, and look up the bottom side of the toilet bowl with the flashlight for and foreign objects. Hopefully it is that simple for you and can retrieve whatever it is easily. It will only cost you the price of a wax ring, about 5 dollars, to reset the toilet.

Last answer is right, there is a thing resembling a grease nipple that the tube goes onto, it is air operated and if not fixed correctly will come off eventually.
Can't help with what to do but I have same sort of problem not once but THREE times. I say bring back the old handle or chain pull, they were much more reliable.
enter the model and name into Google and get download the manual
