Right click, vista problem?

Hi when ever i right click or shift f10 on a .exe or exe shortcut.

A error say's: Windows explorer has stopped working.

Then say's: Windows explorer is restarting.

Then the screen refreshes.

This problem just occured and is starting to tick me off because now i cant run programs in administrator mode.

As you can tell i have vista, help please!

Update:

I forgot to add that its not even windows explorer stopping its ANY program and it comes up with windows explorer stopping.

    Imagine that, Windows software causing Windows explorer to crash.

    They don't say so , but Windows Defender is part of that package, so if you have it, you might still want to check the article.
