I want to watch an interesting mini-series. What do you recommend?
Gracepoint. I loved that. Or any of the short American Horror Story seasons. You don't need to watch any other seasons to enjoy the 13 episode season you choose.
Raising Hope or The Crazy Ones
Centennial is a pretty good mini series.

If you mean very recent mini-series, then Vikings
is especially good. Written by a real historian so
there is the social and family history within this
series.
Fargo. It's based of a movie of the same name and it's great
Top of the Lake, only six episodes. Best thing I've seen on Netflix. I hope it is still there.
