No co-pay birth control?

Hello, so I hear tomorrow (august 1st) the new health care laws allow free birth control among other things. I happened to be in target today picking up stuff and stopped by the pharmacy to see if I would be covered and wouldn't have to pay the co pay and a few other questions they said they had no idea what I was talking about. I even pulled up a page on my smart phone about it to make it more clear what I was talking about since I am not very good at making myself clear sometimes (maybe you can tell?)

My question is do you know if all insurance company's start this tomorrow and if so what should I do if my pharmacy doesn't know about it?

I know I could call my company but its aetna. I don't have all day to be on hold and phone tagged.

Any negative/unrelated comments will be reported and/or deleted thank you.

  • The insurance just has to cover birth control. They can still charge a co-pay.
