I killed mephisto but i didnt use portal to act 4. Do i have to kill him again to get the portal back?
I'm afraid it wont have registered that you completed the act until you step into the portal.
unfortunately this does mean that you will have to kill him again. sorry.
i am pretty sure you dont have to kill him again, simply go down to level 3, and go in that little circle near where the bone bridge comes up, then go thru the portal, just try to run past him and you should be fine...
Yeah you have to hit the way points to activate and save them. besides mephisto is a good way to farm some dank starter items.
