Do seals eat seagulls?
Whilst kayaking around burgh island at bigbury in Devon, we found a small cove on the back side of the island, weparked up the kayaks to explore and found a small cave entrance.. We went to go into the cave but as we moved in there were about 10 seagull carcasses.. We backed out and noticed even more outside...
I've seen seals around the island and obviously they must live somewhere but Ive not heard of then eating gulls??

while seals do kill seagulls in the wild, without seeing the bodies I really can't be sure if the seals were the culprits. from your description those seagulls weren't "eaten", they were just killed. now, did the carcasses have wounds/were they mangled up? if you can get a clear picture that'll be great
Seals are carnivores.
So maybe, if you'd give them seagull meat, they would eat it. But in the wild, they prefer fish.
Never head of a seal taking a seagull.
Fish are more easy for them, cause they are adapted to marine life, and it would be hard for them to catch a seagull, cause seals aren't exactly fast and they have to conserve energy, cause they need all that fat, to survive hard times without food, and/or cold weather
