Do Thi resturant taste good ?

i never ate a Thi food before, my bf said he will take me to this Thai resturant this weekend and i am kinda scared that they would serve me weird things like dogs or bugs......... cus some asians do... i dont know if im wrong, im sorry!
is it good?
salty? spicy? or sweet?
and what dish they r really good in it ?

I'm not sure what part of the world you're in - but if you aren't in the far East chances are it will be pretty Western friendly so they can still make good money from local customers. Anyhow, the menu should be pretty clear, and the waiter will help you if you tell them what meat you want - chicken, pork, beef etc. So no worries about bugs or dog.
Thai is a well loved cuisine by people around the world because they balance flavors especially well. Thai cooking is known for blending all 5 tastes together in harmony.
I like Green Curries kind of tangy, sweet, spicy, & creamy sauce with chicken on rice, plus some garnishes depending on the place.
Pad Thai is pretty easy to love too - it's basically Asian noodles with peanuts and eggs. All familiar. all good.
Thai food is Delicious!! there are different tastes and textures in thai food but i luv them all!!! but mostly my favourite dish is Phat thai.
Stick with the suggestion from waiter and waitress and it'll be fine.
Of course if you piss them off, you'll get the a la surprise.
It is good.
