How do Xbox graphics compare to PC graphics?
This is a hard question to explain...for example say I'm playing skyrim on Xbox, what would the equivalent be to playing on PC? Would it be equivalent to playing on medium settings on a PC? Or high settings? Or maybe even low?
Thanks

It is hard to just say the medium PC settings is the quality on console. Because it depends on the game.
since 2011 most of the console games had medium PC quality because the consoles got old and that's why on Christmas 2013 the Xbox 720 will be released.
but in 2009 and 2010 the graphics of the console had between medium and high PC settings.
But still like I said it depends on the game like Crysis 2 graphics looked like sh*t on console compared to PC on medium.
On Xbox, the settings are generally lower. This is because the hardware is around 8 years old now, so Bethesda tune down the graphics, since the Xbox is simply not capable of running High graphics the same as a PC is. I would say, having played on both, that an Xbox is roughly equivalent to medium settings. What you have to understand though, is that graphics is not a simple "low", "medium" and "high" thing. There are many different factors such as Anti aliasing, Shadow Quality, and others.
To give a rough guide to show the Xbox graphics, as opposed to PC graphics on Max settings, give this video a try. Watch it in 1080p to show closest to what it is actually like on each system: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZmfHzqQxzw

In general and when you consider games consoles have an approx 8 year life cycle and PCs are developing constantly, then there is no contest... a PC wins hands down every time providing it is built for gaming.
And also the fact you can upgrade a PC so easily to take advantage of newer games with demanding technologies when they become available is also an advantage. I am not a big fan of gaming laptops as they are not cost effective, as you can get a far more powerful and much faster PC for much less money, and also i don't think the smaller screens on laptops do HD games justice.
For me if you have the right PC, nothing will beat it for performance, speed and power and ease of making it even better... no laptop, no games consoles comes even close.
Generally medium PC settings equate closest to the consoles.
Medium to low but the upside is there is no lag on Xbox
PC is generally better but it can vary depending on what PC you have
