How do you buy a car?
Basically any information you can give me. I'm 18. I suppose any credit score I would have is fine since I've never really bought anything more expensive than a laptop. How much are the payments (in general. I don't have a car picked out, so I don't have a price to give you)? Do you get a loan or do you just pay for it? How do you get the loan?
Really, ANY info you have would be great.

this has been the best resource I have found when I was car shopping:

unfortunately, I never got to buy the car I was looking at but I sure did learn a lot! howstuffworks is a great website!
Well I would suggest getting a used car. Look on your local craigslist for cars at craigslist.org. There are even almost new-ish cars and some people offer just to take over payments.
WITH THE ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS A GOOD CREDIT SCORE IS A MUST , WEATHER USED OR NEW , UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUYING IN CASH . AND CHECK DIFFERENT RATES ON LOANS FOR YOUR CREDIT SCORES . HAVE A MECHANIC CHECK THE VEHICLE IF YOU ARE BUYING USED . GOOD LUCK
