hopefully you didn't delete the wrong folder. go to recycle bin and restore the file you deleted and if this is the right file, your pics should be there.
Stick your card into your comp, click on initiate>>computing device>>rigidity (F:)>> click and open. BTW, equipped in card readers would desire to be very temperamental. unsure why, they simply are. Acted up on me many a time. If the above sugestion would not help, get your self a USB card reader, one that permits memory stick, see if that works.

Do the following steps, Hope this can help u out--
1. Reset your camera settings.
2. Format your camera memory card.
