How does 5-ln3-ln2 turn into 5-ln6?

Well obviously the 3 and 2 are multiplying, but why? I thought since their substracting, you would divide them not multiply them? so why isnt it 5-ln(3/2)

  • But both of the log terms are negative.

    5-ln3-ln2 = 5-(ln3+ln2) = 5-ln6
