Is this a side effect?
I went to the Doctor's about a week ago. He told me I have some fluid stuck in my ear area's. He prescribed a nasal spray to drain the fluids out. It's "Fluticasone Propionate". After I use it, it takes about 5 minutes until I have snot/mucus/phlegm stuck in the top of my throat/nasal area. I am forced to spit, and spit, until I can get that out of my system. My question is...Is this normal for this nasal spray to do this? I'm worried, because I have had nasal spray's before, but never this type of reaction to one.

Fluticasone side effects:
Mild nasopharyngeal irritaion, nasal burning, stinging, dryness, rebound congestion, altered sense of taste
If the doctor specifically prescribed this nasal spray to drain excess fluid in your ears then it is not a side effect. How else do you expect to get rid of the fluid? Will it pull a houdini and vanish? This was meant to happen.
