can you trade wii points for club nintendo coins?

i have about 1000 points just laying around so i was wondering if i could change those into coins on club nintendo.

    No, you can't. Your Wii Points Account and Club Nintendo Points are two separate accounts. You cannot trade coins with other accounts. Although, you can link your Club Nintendo Account and your Wii Points Account so when you download something on your Wii with Wii Points you get Club Nintendo Points. Like when you buy a game at a store and you put in the code on clubnintendo.com to get points.

    However, you can get 10 coins by purchasing an eligible WiiWare title. Just make sure you connect your Wii Shopping Channel account to your Club Nintendo account (see Wii Shopping Channel settings on how).

    no but you can do it the other way around.

    it's impossible to buy club nintendo coins (stars) with wii points.

    But by linking your account with your wii you can buy wii points with your club nintendo stars
