Do braces affect flute playing?

So 2 years ago I got braces, 1 and a half years ago I began playing flute. Meaning that I haven't ever played the flute without braces. Now in a month I'm getting my braces off and I was wondering if or how it will affect my flute playing, thanks.

    Yes, you will need to readjust your embouchure. a good flute teacher will be a HUGE help - you band director, almost zero. Telling you to "just keep trying" will be frustrating - you need specific instruction. Call a fine professional flutist/teacher - we are everywhere! - just ask.
