The 7950 outscored the gtx 660ti in benchmark checks but the nvidia are easy to update and show better graphics than the amd graphic cards , i would go with the gtx 660ti in the case
the 7950 is currently better than the 660 ti, ti cards aren't that good unless you buy 2 to use them via sli. Some people with low budgets do this to save up for another card, but if you don't plan on buying another one, get the 7950.

I am buying the 660ti myself, what I usually do is Nvidia for graphics, AMD for processors as they are cheap and work as I need them too.

Get the 7950. I prefer AMD because I started out with AMD and probably will remain their customer.
I have an NVIDIA and have absolutely no problems with graphics. Everything looks clear and i love it!
