That depends on your opinion. Politicians have politicized almost every event in history. It is a way for them to gain influence and power. Is it ethical? That depends on various factors, perspectives, incident, and what he/she wants to gain from the situation.
1. Politicize Haiti Earthquake - It has already been politicized but was it ethical? That depends on your own opinion.
2. 9/11 - Many politicians during that time were using complete scare tactics in their campaign but was it correct? From their view it was okay but from opposite view no.
it's wrong to politicize 90% of what we politicize. if we do away with "politician" as a career and simply "loan" people to congressional leadership positions for short periods of time, this politicization process will come to a grinding halt and we'll finally move forward with the citizens placed first instead of last.
I think in Haiti they're united. Yahoo does not reflect what's happening there, where Democrats and Republicans are working together for a common cause.
The politicization of a natural disaster is not considered in good taste, but as one of Obama's staff memebers stated, "Never let a good crisis go to waste." which pretty well sums up what well duh said in her answer.

Well Gee! Today I saw President Obama, Bush and Clinton together at the WH druming up donations and aid.

Many of the answerers don't seem to understand the irony in what they're saying.
Its a natural tendency of the party that lost.
