All contracts, all Services, Officer and Enlisted, are for 8 years.
The difference is how that 8 years is spent. If you were going into the Regulars, you could do 4 years active and the rest in one of the reseerve components. As an RC officer, you will likely have to do at least 6 years drill time. It all depends on what your entry requirements are.
