You are very likely to see people skiing in waterproof pants and tee shirts. Maybe gloves, in case they fall.
Some folks may even be out in shorts! And there's usually a day at the end of the season when people go out in bathing suits, but they are pretty hardy folks...locals, and people who don't mind freezing when they hit the ground!
Expect to spend a fortune! Doesn't matter where you go...I think a Big Mac costs over ten dollars there. Gonna be expensive!

You can wear jeans nearly everywhere anywhere in Colorado. Boots (hiking or fashionable) with GOOD TRED! You'll be there for some ice and possibly mud. Get some good, small/thin gloves and keep them in your purse at all times. Also be sure to wear sunscreen with a fairly high SPF (above 15%) as the UVs here are wicked. You will burn, even if you "never burn" on a sunny day.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water - even with the snow all around, Colorado is a dry climate and you can dehydrate easily.
