do you know (for a fact) forever21 has cameras?
Now, I know stealing is bad. But sometimes I cannot help myself. If you can get away with taking something you like and not having to pay for it, why not? I am against stealing from stealing from someone personally, but stores/corporations I couuld't care less about to tell you the honest truth. If you have been or an employee at forever21 or know for a fact, do they have security cameras? I am thinking about taking all the jewelry I want and sneaking it in my bag. Then going in the dressing room and removing the tags (yes, they have sensors too) and just leaving. The only thing I am worried about is cameras (if there are) being caught on cam sneaking the jewelry in my bag. So, do they? Thanks(:

ya i think they do.... but you can just pretend your looking at the jewerly and then when you see that anybody isnt looking put it in the bag and then go to the fitting rooms..... or you can also just pretend ur going to try on a dress and you grab some jewerly to go with it and when ur in the fitting room take the tags of and put them in your bag ( i dont think they have cameras in the fitting room...that would be sooo gross) im not saying its good to steal but sometimes its ok

Hate to break it to you but you are stealing from people personally. Prices go up because people steal and people who earned raises may not get them because people steal (I know this has happened to me). As someone who works on the other side of retail I can tell you it's not a victimless crime because these big faceless corporations don't just accept that people steal and take the hit, they take it out on the people at the bottom, people like you.

And to answer your question you don't know if the store has cameras or not. I can tell you that the company I work for some stores have cameras that you can look up and see and some have secret cameras that only certain people can see

NO, just because you can't get caught doesn't mean you should do it. It means your a bad person. You may be sweet around your family and friends but something like this shows what kind of dishonest person you really are.
Like they say "if you don't have the time then don't do the crime". Shoplifting is a crime whether someone catches you or catches you immediately or some time down the road. Stores and corporations do care about your or anyone's theft. These days there are cameras everywhere and tags and tags sewn into clothing (they ar elittle chips). so I'd suggest to you that you learn to be an upstanding citizen and get honest. Those that have an honesty problem in the jails are required to see a psychiatrist so get right before you cause yourself a whole lot of problems and ruin your life that keeps you from having the career and the things in life that you want.
They probably don't have cameras in the dressing room (cause that would be perverted), but someone could ask you where the jewelry is and if they can check your bag. Its not worth it, but still when you steal from a corporation that just adds to their expenses and prices rise. You're stealing from yourself realisticly.
How about you learn some sense? Stealing is illegal and nobody should be doing it, whether it's money or clothing - and to answer the actual question, just about every store has security cameras, so they can catch thiefs like you. But, if you really must steal, you'll just get pwned by karma later.
yes, they do... now a days almost all stores do, especially big franchises such as forever 21.
im not necessarily against stealing... but my friend recently got caught and it changed her life forever. she stole a simple 20$ pair of sunglasses and this was her first criminal act ever. she was charged and can not enter over 30 department stores everywhere for over a year. She cant get any jobs because she has a criminal record, and getting into university is completely out of the question. Just think if its really worth it..if you have any doubt you'll get caught DONT do it. trust me.
I hope you get caught if you steal merchandise from a store or steal from a person.
