How do I view videos sent from my friends Palm Pixi, via email?

When they try to send the video via email on their phone, I get the video and try to convert it from its MP4 state to MPEG (or any other conversion really) and when I try to watch it, the video fastforwards while the audio is normal. I can't put the MP4 state on my phone, because it says the resolution type is unsupported. Any help?
