How much do lenses costs?
My glasses are stained, and I can't stand it anymore. I got them at Lenscrafters but this is the second time the lenses have done this,so I don't want to go back to them. I like my frames so I'd like to keep those, but just replace the lenses. Could I get them replaced at Walmart even though they are from Lenscrafters?? How much would it cost??

Contrary to what the person before me said... Walmarts quality is very good. I have never had a problem with their glasses. Also u can get them at Sam's Club, i have a pair from there also. The thing is when u go 2 sams or walmart, they include AR coatings, UV protection, and scrath resistant(not 2 b confused with scratch proof) coatings. Those coatings are included in the price of the lens, while when u go somewhere else it might b cheaper lenses, but without these coatings or u pay extra for the coatings. If u r 18 or younger go 2 sams club before the end of this month. u can get a set of Polycarbonate lenses for $30 and then when u bring ur frame its a $20 tracing fee. so ud b looking at $50. now if ur 19+ it'd b $105 for the set and $20 tracing... so a total of $125.
It doesn't matter where the frame is from, any optical store can replace the lenses.
The funny thing here, is that you had trouble with Lenscrafters quality, ( which is common), but you think Walmart is going to be a step up ?
If you want quality products and a place that will stand behind it, find your smaller independent optical store to go to.
