Moving to Tennessee from NJ. Do driver's license points transfer?
I have 6 points on my NJ license. Now I have moved to Tennessee. Will the points transfer to my TN license. Also, will I still have to pay the insurance surcharges?

Yes and Yes.
All 50 states have all entered into reciprocal agreements wherein an applicant will be denied a drivers license in that state until such time as they have resolved any suspension issues, outstanding tickets, points and or fines in their previous state of issue and yes this will effect your insurance as well.
properly they do and that they don't. once you progression to a TN your new licence won't teach the factors you accrued in NJ. yet as quickly as you adjust your coverage to a TN coverage (or purchase a sparkling TN coverage) the Ins Co will choose to examine your applying checklist going back 3 in all probability 5 years so they're going to ask to your NJ licence quantity and run a examine on it. the fee you would be charged on your coverage relies upon on what they locate on your checklist.
