I noticed that when I drink, especially cold drinks, it feels like my braces get tighter. My friends who have or have had braces say this has happened to them too. What causes this? Does this happen only in the beginning? How long will it last?
I think its just because your mouth isnt used to something bigger so it feels wierd...idk thats what i thought when i got them cuz it felt the same for me...it only lasted about 2 or 3 days for me but i only had the top when i had this problem...
Maybe it's because the metal in the braces expands when it gets hot and contracts when it gets cold. This is what metal does. Like the Eiffel Tower for example, gets taller in summer and shrinks in winter because the sum heats the metal in the tower causing it to expand and the coldness of winter causes it to contract!
